green & red

While doing research on solar technology at work (the great thing about my editing position is the amount of research I get to do on a huge spectrum of topics), I came across the Keetsa Blog, which features a wealth of eco-friendly news. I thought 'that's cool," not fully getting that they manufactured environmentally sound mattresses. Then two days later, I was coming home from the KPFA Crafts and Music Fair and happened by a Keetsa showroom. Turns out, they're only retail store is in SF. I tried them out and thought about 'em while I did furniture recon these past few weeks. This week, I rolled a green mattress home ( that is, into and out of a taxi and up some stairs). Pretty cool to get a mattress with non-toxic, recycled, reclaimed and sustainable ingredients that comes in a box, unrolls, and fits very well into my studio digs. Plus they send you home with green tea.

In other news, my ep "Turn It All Red," is now available on iTunes.
